About The Role
In Villa Dining Manager is responsible to ensure that One&Only Guests receive the highest quality of service during their stay. IVD Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the In Villa Dining department, from ordering supplies and suprvising colleagues to collaborating with all departments ensuring timely delivery of orders. IVD Manager oversees the preparation and presentation of food and bevearages, monitors inventory levels, adhers to health and safety regulations and establishes policies and procedures. Works closely with all departments to ensure that Guest's needs and preferences are met.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily Front and Back of House operations of the In-Villa Dining outlet, during and after all meal periods.
- Oversee the day-to-day and weekly arrival reports, to ensure that all information’s are gathered, such as preferences and allergies.
- Work closely with the host’s department and be aligned with guest feedback and preferences.
- Communicate with the provided systems and other One&Only resorts for any guest preferences and update guest profile.
- Organize the order of food & beverage items, which are necessary to meet the guest expectations and beyond.
- Ensure Guest’s food & beverage preferences and any dietary allergies are communicated to all teams.
- Takes an active role in brainstorming and planning with other departments wow-moments.
- Deliver superior food & beverage service and maximize customer satisfaction by creating everlasting experiences.
- Respond efficiently and accurately to Guest’s preferences to ensure their satisfaction according to brand standards.
- Ensure that all amenities are delivered on time and are aligned with the SOP guidelines.
- Ensure that the refreshment center is maintained, refilled and refreshed daily.
- Ensure that the quality is maintained and monitors the expiration dates.
- Implement order taking duties and standards.
- Ensure that the order taking process is aligned with the brand standard and other audit guidelines.
- Ensure that reporting is aligned with the SOP’s.
- Conduct monthly stock takes for all beverage items and ensure that the quality of all products.
- Ensure that the outlet is aligned with the HACCP and Health & Safety standards.
- Work closely with the culinary to ensure timely preparation and delivery of every order and ensure the consistency of the preparation and temperature.
- Handle Guest’s complaints and resolve them applying the best practices for service recovery.
- Monitor Guest-feedback and implement training plan and corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with brand standards.
- Organize and supervise shifts to maintain high quality services.
- Manage staff schedule according to operational needs.
- Conduct daily team meetings and briefings.
- Develop and manage budgets to meet the financial goals.
- Issue daily, weekly and monthly productivity and revenue reports.
- Conduct team performance reviews for each colleague as per company standards.
- Create detailed weekly, monthly, and annual revenue and productivity reports.
- Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize waste and always ensure adequate supplies.
- Monitor monthly expenses and optimize cost-efficiency.
- Utilize menu engineering and costing knowledge to maximize profitability.
- Develop with the guidance of the Food & Beverage Manager marketing strategies and create unique experiences for Guests.
- Ensure compliance with licensing, and regulatory requirements and adhere to the hotel's rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
- Ensure that beverage offerings meet the latest trends and keep the concept guideline.
- To assist with any other duties assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager.
- Conduct regular repairs and maintenances for F&B equipment.
- To undertake other duties and responsibilities which, while outside the normal routine, are within the overall scope of the position.
