About The Role

 

The Food & Beverage Manager will oversee the daily food and beverage operations, outlets, working closely with the Culinary team, Restaurant Managers and to ensure the One&Only service standards exceed the experience of the guest. He will help the Director of Food and Beverage maintain the department goals and budget goals.

 

The Manager of F&B will be based in the central office (Athens) during the non-operating period of the Resort, while present on the Island of Kea while the Resort is operating (accommodation on Kea island provided). 

This position requires a high level of professionalism as responsible for the Food & Beverage department, while achieving corporate targets, both Guest & Employee Satisfaction & GOP results for each area of responsibility. 

 

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Design exceptional Food and Beverage concepts, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements,
  • Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards,
  • Establish targets, KPI’s, schedules, policies and procedures according to brand standards,
  • Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service,
  • Identify customers’ needs and respond proactively, to create memorable culinary experiences,
  • Ensures that all departmental project milestones are met and adhering to the approved budgets,
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations,
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure the consistency of high-quality services and brand standards,
  • Ensure that the daily stock records are maintained, and issue the day-to-day requisitioning of stocks, to ensure consistent quality and cost effective management of all Food & Beverage outlets,
  • Provide a two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork,
  • Report to the management on sales results and productivity; prepare daily, weekly and monthly revenue and productivity reports,
  • Lead Food and Beverage team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented colleagues.

 

 

Positions Requirements

 

  • At least 4 years’ experience in a similar position, in luxury segmentation of the industry,
  • University degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management,
  • Ability to develop/analyze P&L, Food Cost and relevant reporting,
  • Competent in using POS systems and other software (MS Office),
  • Deep knowledge of health & safety regulations,
  • Ability to take decisions, focus on problem solving and act to meet financial targets,
  • Remain innovative and connect emotionally with guest,
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop colleagues,
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English language.
