About the role
Control of Personnel Requisition Forms, maintenance and update of Payroll system. This role will also work closely with the Director, Finance and Human Resources Department on matters related to payroll.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs day to day payroll-related transactions and updates information in Payroll System.
- Checks the attendance sheet submitted by HRD with the employee time sheets to verify the correctness of data submitted.
- Prepares overtime schedule based on the authorized overtime forms and verifies correctness of data to the attendance sheets submitted.
- Performs the monthly payroll preparation in order the file to be sent to the outsourced company for the payroll preparation.
- Ensures that payroll adjustments such as payroll deductions and additions (e.g.salary/overtime adjustments, expense claims etc.) are properly applied during the payroll month.
- Ensures that salaries will not be released to employees without contracts or contracts renewal.
- Prepares the monthly employee headcount for submission to the Payroll company and DOF on or before the end of the payroll month.
- Prepares the team members’ monthly tips distribution calculation.
- Prepares the monthly payroll provisions such as vacation pay, vacation ticket, incentive pay and long service award.
- Coordinates effectively with Human Resources Department on issues related to payroll.
- Maintains high confidentiality and accuracy over payroll transactions and information.
- Maintains full confidentiality over Resort Financial information.
- Understands thoroughly the Resort policies and procedures affecting payroll such as employees’ handbook and other policies issued by HRD or GM’s office.
- Assist with the reporting system of the government
- Participates in required training related to the job.

Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Good knowledge of English
- Minimum two years of experience in similar positions
- Good communication skills, interpersonal skills, analytical skills
- Knowledge in HR/ Payroll software system
- Knowledge in Excel, Work and other Microsoft Office applications
