About the role


Under the guidance of the Spa Manager and within the limits of the Spa policies, ensure the maintenance of the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all aspects of spa operation. This part also involves the Spa ambience, physical set up of the Spa – music, air conditioning levels, incense, candles and oil burners lit and supplying sufficient clean linen. Revising the optimum functionality of the Spa equipment and engineering needs of the facilities is an important part of the roll as well as providing the service and attention aligned to the protocols and standards to our guests in the changing rooms.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

 

  •  Reports to shift on time, dressed in the issued uniform, and groomed as described in the resort’s grooming standards. 
  •  Will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the entire Spa, treatment, changing rooms, guest waiting area, garden lounge, pool, Hair Salon, Bastien Studio and relaxation areas. These to be kept in a neat, tidy and sanitary manner in accordance with the Health and Safety Standards and Spa Manager directions.
  • Responsible for morning and evening set ups and turn down service of spa guest areas
  • To assist therapists in setting up treatments and clearing away after treatments.
  •  To ensure that lockers are always stocked with clean linen and adequate guest supplies and remove soil linen from changing rooms, relaxation areas, treatment rooms, Spa reception, hair salon and Bastien Gonzalez area.
  • To assist guests in changing areas, provide a tour in the locker areas explaining the facilities and hydrotherapy circuit (temperature, time of exposure, contraindications etc). As well as offer beverage amenities, cold towel and Amenities that are available on request and ensure guests are not left unattended.
  • To perform any additional duty as may require by the management.

 

Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements

 

  • High School Diploma
  • Basic knowledge of English
  • Strong interpersonal skills. 
  • Previous experience in 5-star Resorts.
  • Ideally to count with previous experience in public areas or housekeeping.
  • Attention to detail and aptitude to maintain a very hygienic environment.
  • Required to be able to do a lot of walking, standing and heavy lifting.

 

This position is for the summer season of 2025.
