About the role
The Sports & Leisure Team Leader guides, monitoring and leading the team of the department. Is responsible for motivating their teammates as well as inspiring positive communication within them so that they can work together toward achieving goals.
Always keep an attitude of cooperation and collaboration to ensure the development of the objectives of the resort and the company as well as guest’s satisfaction.
Finally, Team Leader have high organized and management skills, sense of customer services and communication, fluent in English (written and spoken), and know how to work under pressure.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Wear the uniform provided appropriately, following the grooming and uniforms standards set by the company.
- Observe all the Sports & Leisure areas for proper operation and report to Sports & Leisure Manager.
- Follow and operate the daily schedule of activities and ensure smooth running.
- Oversee the use of fitness equipment to ensure clients exercise properly and safely.
- Private and group sessions taking into consideration the guests’ needs and preferences.
- Provide additional assistance when requested from the management team or colleagues.
- Make sure to give individual attention and assistance to guests.
- Ensure efficient communication with your manager and other departments to complete any special requests or services required by the guest.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of all activities, operation hours and procedure of Fitness.
- Always keep an attitude of cooperation and collaboration to ensure the development of the objectives of the hotel and the company and as well as guest’s satisfaction.
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
- Education: Degree at Department of Physical Education and Sports Science.
- Minimum Experience: 2 years in same or similar position
- Language(s) Greek, English
- Experiences: Hiking, Biking, Football. Proven experience as a Tennis coach/instructor, ideally in a hotel environment or Sports Club. Professional experience will be an advance.
