JOB SUMMARY

 

Drive Sales function by assisting the Director of Sales in overseeing the Sales function and ensuring the department is working efficiently and clients are looked after well.  Ensuring the General Sales activities are carried out and the guest satisfaction index goes on up word trend.

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

•    Personally build clear and open lines of communication with all departments
•    Understand Maldives business trends in terms of targeting the right market. Also, be aware of the political uplift of the country.
•    Be actively involved in maintaining all Kerzner International programs.
•    Build a team with different opinions, skills, experiences, and backgrounds; leverage personal, cultural, and functional differences to optimize team performance.
•    Actively involved and worked with the Finance department in tour operator contracting. 
•    Organize tour operator visits to One&Only Reethi Rah to showcase the resort at regular intervals. 
•    Ensure all communications are aligned to the One&Only brand image.
•    Develop and maintain rapport with key community contacts to ensure a visible presence in the community. 
•    Create an environment that trains, develops, coaches, and mentors colleagues.
•    Be innovative with everything you do.
•    Actively participate in sales presentations, property tours, and customer meetings.
•    Drive GSQ action plan follow-up every month with direct reports. 
•    Work closely with marketing to drive all the events. 
•    Respond to all internal emails from various functions i.e., reservation, rooms, F&B
•    Involve in the finalization of any big event query i.e., wedding, birthday party, gala dinner, etc. 
•    Attend morning meetings when needed and represent the Sales function.
•    Work closely with the reservation team to give support from a Sales point of view. 
•    Undertake additional duties as requested by the DOS.
•    To perform all other jobs related to your scope of work, as requested by your superiors or other Managers.
