JOB SUMMARY

Administrator, Water Sports is responsible for the day to day running and operation of Water Sport & Recreation departments. Planning of the day for the good running of all Water Sports activities, Recreation activities, Tennis/Padel bookings and Art classes. Can engage with guests and easily inform them of the activities available and convert to bookings. Completes any additional tasks as assigned by the Assistant Manager Recreation and Manager, Sports & Leisure from time to time.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for set up of Water Sports & Splash Boutique area prior to opening – ensures radios, booking request log, disclaimer forms, guest towels, bottled water are available and ready to use. 
• Ensure to coordinate & build a smooth working environment on daily programs & activities. 
• Always take initiative to bond with guests in regards of Water Sports, Recreation activities and Tennis/Padel by promoting the department events and daily programs. 
• Can converse with guests easily about all activities available at Water Sports, Recreation and Tennis/Padel. 
• Can take bookings for all Water Sports, Recreation activities and Tennis/Padel ensuring they do not conflict with any current reservations. 
• Upselling of special packages, bespoke activities and experiential guest planners. 
• Is responsible for inventory of all the items in Splash Boutique. 
• Compiles daily sales & activity participant’s record. 
• Conducts weekly and monthly stock check in Splash Boutique. Ensures all operational materials are always available with sufficient stock and takes full ownership to safeguard resort equipment’s. 
• Provide a full detailed month end report to Manager, Sports & Leisure by 2nd of every month. 
• Take guest booking and coordinate with designated colleagues including other sub department related requests and always update to Assistant Manager Recreation and Manager, Sports & Leisure for any concern and any maintenance request. 
• Send department maintenance requests daily or when required. 
• Responsible for posting, monitoring and assisting with all bills of guests who use Water Sport, Recreation, Tennis/Padel and Art revenue centers. 
• Fills in for other areas within the Guest Activities and Sports Department at the request of the Manager, Sports & Leisure 
• Checks cleanliness of Splash Boutique and guest seating area, ensuring table and chairs as well as guest lockers are free of sand/dust and are all in good working order. 
• Ensures towels are placed out for guest use and are replenished throughout the day as required. 
• Responsible for cleanliness of Splash Boutique – free of rubbish, seating is free of dirt and tears. 
• Responsible for completing closer of Splash Boutique including the Water Sport & Recreation at the end of the day – removing used towels and returning to laundry, ensure office equipment is stored away neatly ready for the following day. 
• Log and report any guest-related glitch or incidents to the Assistant Manager Recreation and Manager, Sports & Leisure 
• Attends and participates in team events such as monthly departmental guest experiences meeting. 
• Participates in required training related to the job. 
• Must demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality. 
• Always maintain the highest levels of personal hygiene. 
• Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established Resort’s Policies and Procedures. 
• Coordinate with Hosts, guest information about all in-house guest bookings for Water sports, Recreation, Tennis/Padel and Art. 
• Assisting will all mail pre-bookings for Water Sports, Recreation, Tennis/Padel and Art. 
• Update booking system and communicate daily. 
• Coordinate all daily activities for guests between the Hosts and Water Sports and Recreation Colleagues. 
• Compile the day end report which consists of the revenue and status of the budget and communicate to all the department colleagues. 
• At the end of each day, communicate all the booking requests and reservations for the following day with all department colleagues. 
• Filling out all the bills and any other necessary documents for Water Sports and Recreation. 
• Maintain accurate records of all the activities, stock and events of the department. 
• Prepare weekly time sheets and assist Guest Experience coordinator to submit the signed time sheets to HR and Finance in
