JOB SUMMARY
•    To support and execute all goals of the Commercial Department and Sales & Marketing at One&Only Reethi Rah. 
•    This role is well suited to an individual with prior agency experience, a strong understanding of ultra-luxury brands, and the ability to execute strategic, creative campaigns. The ideal candidate is also outgoing and adept at representing the brand with media and can demonstrate an ability to be able to reach up to strategic thinking and agency management as well as know how to follow through with execution. It is also key that this role can show the ROI of campaigns and activity, ensuring that all activity has a commercial view.

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Personally, build clear and open lines of communication with all departments.
•    Understand Maldives business trends in terms of targeting the right market. Also, be aware of the political uplift of the country.
•    Be actively involved in maintaining all Kerzner International programs.
•    Build a team with different opinions, skills, experiences, and backgrounds; leverage personal, cultural, and functional differences to optimize team performance.
•    Actively involved and worked with the Finance department in tour operator contracting. 
•    Organized tour operator visits to One&Only Reethi Rah to showcase the resort at regular intervals. 
•    Conduct product training through Webinars, and regularly communicate with trade regarding any resort updates.
•    Attend Tradeshows and Roadshows on behalf of One&Only Reethi Rah. 
•    Ensure all communications are aligned to the One&Only brand image.
•    Develop and maintain rapport with key community contacts to ensure a visible presence in the community. 
•    Maintain and update records of all tour operator communication, contracts, and tactical offers.
•    Upkeep Salesforce by overseeing and entering all Sales and Marketing-related account entries, including notes from trade events, sales calls, FAM visits, and partner updates.
•    Assist DOSM and guide the Coordinator Sales and Marketing during the contracting season and oversee the contracting distribution process to all partners, using DocuSign and Smartsheet. 
•    Create an environment that trains, develops, coaches, and mentors colleagues.
•    Be innovative with everything you do.
•    Actively participate in sales presentations, property tours, and customer meetings.
•    Drive GSQ action plan follows up monthly with direct reports. 
•    Work closely with assistant manager, and marketing to drive all the projects. 
•    Respond to all internal emails from various functions i.e., reservation, rooms, F&B
•    Involve in finalizing any big event query i.e., wedding, birthday party, gala dinner, etc. 
•    Attend morning meetings and represent the Sales & Marketing function.
•    Work closely with the reservation team to give support from the S&M point of view. 
•    Undertake additional duties as requested by the ADOSM.
•    To perform all other jobs related to your scope of work, as requested by your superiors or other Managers. 

 

SKILL EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT 
•    Ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members. 
•    Be innovative, and financially savvy, provide instinctive service, and be inspirational. 
•    Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
•    2 years degree in Management Field 
•    1 year of similar role experience
