JOB SUMMARY
Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the public area of the Team Village to the highest possible standard, ensuring that cleanliness/hygiene is always followed. Also work on a rotation basis within the various areas of Human Resources, providing courteous, efficient service and maximum staff satisfaction to the standards required by the resort.

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform, and name tag always.
•    Ensure that all the public area in staff village is cleaned thoroughly.
•    Keeps the entire staff village cleaning equipment in good working order.
•    Execute any other work or responsibility within scope of duty given by the manager.
•    Attends and participates in team events.
•    Participates in required training related to the job. 
•    To effectively communicate and maintain a favorable working relationship with colleges at all levels.
•    Always ensure a professional attitude towards guests and colleagues.   
•    Makes suggestions and requisition list of proposed purchases of staff village equipment and report to the Team Village Manager.
•    Reports incidents of breakages and losses to the Team Village Manager.
•    To be conscious and responsible regarding energy and water conservation.
•    Reports incidents of breakages, equipment repair and maintenance to Department Head. 
•    Make a list of equipment and dormitory facilities for repair and maintenance to the Team Village Manager.
•    Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of the Staff Village.
•    Always maintains the highest levels of personal hygiene.
•    To ensure that company and statutory hygiene standards are maintained in all work areas.
•    To be fully aware of all health and safety, fire, and emergency procedures.
•    Responsible for reporting any potentially hazardous situations within the workplace.
•    To keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
•    Maintains a high standard of appearance and always grooming, as per One&Only standards.
•    Apply and adhere to rules and regulations as per the employee handbook, departmental and resort policies, and procedures, including those for emergencies.
•    Develop and maintain an understanding of the overall organization’s mission, vision, and values.
•    At all times to project a favorable image of One&Only Reethi Rah and One&Only Resorts to the guests and public.
•    professionally handles any guest’s complaint, as per the resort’s Policy and procedure (service recovery).
•    Practices proper telephone etiquette with colleagues and resort guests.
•    Ensures all activities are carried out honestly, ethically, and within the parameters of the Maldivian Law.
•    any other duties as may be assigned by the Manager, Team Village.

 

SKILL EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT 
•    Should be able to work independently as well as in a team.
•    Must be able to work in a remote island location.
•    Should have completed ordinary-level education/high school.
•    Should be able to speak in English and able to communicate clearly.
•    Must be physically fit and able to work long hours.
•    Should be flexible.  
•    Should have a positive attitude.
•    Should have a minimum of 1–2-year experience in a similar role.
