JOB SUMMARY
The public Area Attendant is responsible for cleaning, replenishing supplies, and maintaining the public areas of the Resort to the highest possible standard, always adhering to O&O standards, and ensuring that cleanliness/hygiene is always followed.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure all defects are reported immediately and follow up to ensure they have been completed.
• To assist with preventative maintenance programs for Public Areas of the Resort.
• To maintain an adequate par stock of all guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and equipment for assigned sections.
• Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition.
• Ensure proper use and care of equipment.
• Actively assist with monthly inventories of all chemicals, supplies, and equipment where required.
• Report repairs and maintenance to the Team Leader or Administrator Public Area.
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness to all assigned work areas ensuring that they have been cleaned to the highest level and standards are being followed.
• Ensure the Lost and Found procedure is always adhered to.
• The ability to maintain safe work practices.
• Assist in new colleague job skill training when requested by the superiors.
• Ensure that the task provided daily is executed to the expectation of O&O RR standards.
• Attends and participates in team events.
• Must demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Participates in required training related to the job.
• To effectively communicate and maintain a favorable working relationship with colleges at all levels.
• Assure professional attitude toward guests and colleagues.
• Ensure to always meet the Grooming and Hygiene policy of One&Only Reethi Rah when in uniform.
• To perform all other jobs related to your scope of work, as requested by your superiors or other Managers
SKILL EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
• Minimum of 1 year's job experience in a five-star or higher category resort.
