JOB SUMMARY

The Civil Engineer supports the Director, of Technical Services/Manager, Facilities & Engineering Operations and the Asset Manager in site supervision and inspection, coordination, problem solving, risk management, problem solving, safety, Documentation on all resort projects initiation by the RRR Ltd and resort. The role also ensures collaboration with the resort team such to infrastructure—including civil works, carpentry, renovations, building, furniture, and fixtures —meets high operational standards. The goal is to optimize guest satisfaction and drive organizational profitability by efficiently utilizing resources and maintaining a safe, well-functioning environment across all departments.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIES

• Coordination - with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth project execution. 
• Site supervision and inspection - monitor construction progress, conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to safety standards and quality control procedures. 
• Problem solving – Identify and resolve construction -related issues and challenges, ensuring the project stays on track. 
• Risk Management – Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate potential risks during construction. 
• Safety – responsible for ensuring that construction activities adhere to safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Documentation – maintain accurate records of projects progress, inspections regulations. 
• Procurement - assist in procurement activities, including material sourcing and vendor coordination.
• Communication - with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address concerns proactively.

MANAGERIAL RESPONSBILITIES

• Implement systems and procedures that ensure the safety of guests, employees, and property assets.
• Staffing and scheduling of the department and allocation of duties.
• Develop systems and procedures that achieve higher cost efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Facilitate learning and development for all the team members of the department.
• Performance Appraisal/ Management of the staff in the department.
• To perform all other jobs related to your scope of work, as requested by your superiors or other Managers

SKILL EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Construction management or project management 
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in project coordination or management within construction, engineering, or a relevant industry
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good commanding skills, leadership, and communication skills.
• Must have theoretical and practical knowledge about General construction and project construction (civil)    
• Ability to work hand-to-hand with technicians and project team at any time of resort requirement.
• Should have proper knowledge about all Hospitality Engineering systems, Project & asset management
