JOB SUMMARY
The Resort Intern supports the daily operations of the assigned department while gaining practical experience in a luxury hospitality environment. The intern is expected to actively participate in learning and development opportunities, uphold company standards, demonstrate professionalism, and contribute positively to the guest and colleague experience.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in structured on-the-job training and learning activities as outlined in the internship program.
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning by seeking feedback and actively participating in mentoring, cross-exposure opportunities, workshops, and special projects.
• Maintain punctuality, regular attendance, and adherence to assigned work schedules, reporting any absence promptly.
• Complete all required orientation and onboarding program and develop an understanding of the company's mission, vision, values, structure, and operational standards.
• Attend and complete all mandatory training, e-learning, compliance courses, coaching sessions, and development activities within prescribed timelines.
• Demonstrate professional conduct, integrity, respect, and a positive attitude in all interactions with guests, colleagues, and business partners.
• Uphold company policies, procedures, code of conduct requirements, and workplace standards relating to ethics, safety, security, and confidentiality.
• Maintain exceptional grooming, hygiene, and professional appearance standards, including the correct wearing of the prescribed uniform in accordance with company and brand guidelines.
• Act as an ambassador of the brand on and off duty, reflecting the hotel’s values, culture, and service philosophy.
• Uphold the resort's brand standards and contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences through professionalism, attention to detail, and service excellence.
• Develop knowledge of ultra-luxury hospitality principles, including guest personalization, anticipatory service, Forbes Travel Guide, and Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards.
• Assist with daily operational duties as directed by the assigned supervisor while observing departmental procedures, quality standards, and safe work practices.
• Maintain organized work areas, departmental resources, and accurate completion of required logs, checklists, reports, and learning records.
• Follow established communication channels for requests, concerns, and operational updates.
• Attend scheduled intern meetings, briefings, and development sessions, and support departmental initiatives, events, projects, and other operational activities as required. Undertake any reasonable task, assignment, or responsibility requested by the Manager, Learning & Development/Designate
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to learn across different areas of the operation when opportunities arise.
• To carry out any other reasonable duties and learning assignments as directed by Manager, Learning & Development /Designate to support the objectives of the internship program.
