JOB SUMMARY
The Kid’s Buddy is responsible for the supervision and well-being of children aged 6 months to -12 years who are assigned to his/her care. He/ She must be able to engage children in simple activities for the period and provide highly personalized and professional service. He/ She must also communicate clearly and effectively with parents and gain their confidence while being the temporary guardian of their child. The Kid’s Buddy is to implement programmers introduced by the management to carry out all activities and perform up to the standards set. Duties also include helping maintain the cleanliness and order of KidsOnly and its surroundings.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To be present at arrivals and departures to greet the children.
• Ensures all necessary Welcome/invitation letters/cards, Introduction letters, and complimentary arrivals kits are always available and ready at appropriate times, according to KidsOnly Standard Operation procedures.
• Welcomes, greets, and assists guests with requests, inquiries, and directions.
• Perform duties according to OORR KidsOnly Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensures that the child is safe and always supervised.
• Ensure following daily, weekly, and monthly activity schedules as instructed by the Kids Only Team Leader or Manager
• Accompanied children when required to beach and non-beach activities, programs, and excursions on or off the island.
• Ensure all SOPs, Risk Assessments, Policies and Procedures, and Health guidelines are followed accordingly.
• Ensures all necessary registration forms/ activity waivers are ready at the reception and filled up properly by the parents or guardian.
• Actively promote and encourage the participation of guests in all activities and events.
• Dress up in proper costumes for the theme of the day.
• Deals with guests, who need special attention with the utmost care, accuracy, and tolerance.
• Ensures all necessary babysitting forms are filled up and submitted after duty, and reports/files are updated.
• Ensures all necessary reception forms and files are filed daily and reports are updated in the system.
• Is responsible for assisting all the inventory of all items in the kid’s club.
• Report the items or valuables found on the property to help maintain the good reputation of the property.
• Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner by establishing the resort’s policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of team Goals, targets, and budgets.
• Fills in for other positions within the Kids Club at the request of the KidsOnly Manager/ Team Leader
• Ensures updating all the kid's profiles about their preferences, medical conditions/ allergies, etc.
• Issue job requisition/ orders and repair and maintenance of outlet.
• Inform the Manager/ Admin/ Team Leader if the daily supplies need to be ordered.
• Ensures that KidsOnly and Compound are always neat.
• Shows initiatives, suggests new services anticipates guests' needs, and discusses with the Manager.
• Reports feedback to the Team Leader or KidsOnly Manager on likes and dislikes of kids with regards to the activities and programs implemented.
• Always communicates customer complaints and compliments to the Team Leader or KidsOnly Manager.
• Report any problems and guest-related incidents to the Team Leader or KidsOnly Manager, and update the incident report and documents accordingly.
• To have a good working relationship with the whole team.
• To obtain a buggy license.
• Be responsible for the opening and closing procedure of the Kids Club.
• Make sure all the toys and space are disinfected every week or, daily if required.
• Complete other duties assigned by the KidsOnly Manager or Team Leader
• To plan and develop activities and programs consistent with the child’s development.
• Design and suggest kids’ birthday packages and any other kids’ events (Easter, Christmas, Halloween, etc.)
• Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and the hotel.
• To perform all other jobs related to your scope of work, as requested by your superiors or other Managers.
SKILL EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
• Must complete the childcare training and always with positive attitude version the workplace.
• A minimum of two tears in a similar role is required.
