JOB SUMMARY
The Kitchen & Laundry Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive servicing of all kitchen and laundry equipment within the resort. This role ensures uninterrupted operation of kitchen and laundry systems to support resort operations, guest satisfaction, hygiene standards, and safety compliance.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain kitchen & laundry equipments.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to schedules
• Calibrate laundry equipment for efficiency and fabric care standards
• Coordinate with Kitchen, Stewarding, Housekeeping, and Laundry departments.
• Assist other engineering trades during emergencies or major projects.
• Support energy-saving and sustainability initiatives.
• Follow resort safety procedures and lockout/tagout practices.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, HACCP, electrical, and fire safety standards.
• To perform all other jobs related to your scope of work, requested by your superiors or other Managers
• Maintain daily log reports.
SKILL EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
• Must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in similar operations.
• Any professional qualifications in the sections will be an added advantage.
• Must be able to produce quality & accurate work, also to be able to detect and correct errors.
