JOB SUMMARY

 

To support and execute targets for designated accounts and defined new markets/segments for own territory. This role is well suited to an individual who has had prior sales experience, a strong understanding of ultra-luxury market, and the ability to execute the sales & marketing strategy and plan of action related to own segment.  
Ensure all business development activities are fully aligned with One&Only brand standards and can demonstrate an ability of strategic thinking.  

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

•    Act as the single point of contact within the hotel for each key account on a commercial and strategic level;
•    Produce and implement an account development plan for each managed account to achieve maximum revenue in both short and long term.
•    Execute the annual Strategic Business plan of the hotel within the area of responsibility.
•    Monitor and feedback competitors activities and take action to respond accordingly to market trends.
•    Maintain high profile network across the geographical area given, actively prospects and explore new business opportunities.
•    Continuously source new business through research of local media, Government and market intelligence. 
•    Attending overseas trade shows, key client events, famtrips and sales trips as planned and submitted at the beginning of each year and updated calendar at each quarter.
•    Be fully up to date with budget/actuals/forecast targets of the resort as well as own segment and individual target. 
•    Develop and maintain a close working relationship with RSO’s and other sales colleagues from sister properties.
•    Identify and communicate ideas and customer expectations from assigned segments and territory.
•    Collaborate with on-property Marketing team to produce assets and content for presentations, trade marketing, webinars, etc..
•    Identify emerging consumer trends and bring new ideas to the forefront to ensure that One&Only is a leader in the luxury sector.
•    Development and implementation of creative initiatives to drive incremental revenue to the resort;  
•    Continue to position One&Only Reethi Rah as an innovator and best in class. 
•    Strong speaking and writing skills in English; second language preferable (spoken and written).
•    Manage regular administrative tasks including database management;    
•    Maintain accurate profiles and activity history of managed accounts in Salesforce.
•    Contribute to the monthly revenue meeting deck and submit all relevant monthly actions to the line manager;
•    Attend the daily briefing of the hotel and feedback to other sales colleagues.
•    Review daily the guest arrival list to highlight VIP’s and returning guests.
•    As this position requires hosting famtrips and site inspections, it must be available some nights and weekends.
•    The manager should be able to build a strong relationship across a variety of internal and external stakeholders in addition to working with the manager/directors on promoting F&B outlets, Spa, and other operational departments;
•    To perform all other jobs related to your scope of work, as requested by your superiors or other Managers.

 

SKILL EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT 

 

•    Requires education in media/marketing/communications and PR.
•    Resort-based experience a plus
•    Experience with projects related to the travel/hospitality/luxury industry.
•    Experience in handling media relations and press trips
