JOB SUMMARY
Be able to identify the types of linens and their use along with proper cleaning methods. To ensure linens are stacked and packed to the required standard according to One&Only Reethi Rah. All dirty linens and clothing are sent to the laundry ensuring proper handling.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To transport all dirty linens to the laundry in a proper manner to avoid damage and sort all dirty linens into the types of linen and it comes to the laundry.
- Stack pantries neatly with clean linens to the required quantities.
- Ensure stocks are replenished and kept neat at the end of each day.
- Assists in inventories conducted.
- Keep the linen pantry clean and well always stocked.
- Take ownership of the buggy used, ensuring that it is cleaned daily and taken care of.
- Assist in new colleague job skill training as and when requested by the superiors.
- Ensure that the tasks provided daily are executed to the expectation of O&O RR standard.
- Must demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Attends and participates in team events.
- Participates in required training related to the job.
- To effectively communicate and maintain a favorable working relationship with colleges at all levels.
- Always assure professional attitude towards guest and colleges.
- Ensure to always meet Grooming and Hygiene policy of One&Only Reethi Rah when in uniform.
- To perform all other jobs related to your scope of work, requested by your superiors or other Managers
SKILL EXPEREINCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
- Must be of Grade 12 or A- level standard educated. (Be Fluent in Spoken & Written English, any other foreign language is a plus factor)
- Hospitality graduates an advantage.
- Must be skilled to perform the job of a pantry runner.
- Must have minimum 2 years job experience in a five star or higher category resort.
