JOB SUMMARY

 

To assist the Manager of finance in the planning and implementation of the controlling system and to conduct inventories. Record all transactions related to consumption into proper account under the supervision of the Manager of Finance and assist the Officer of Cost Control with proper filing.

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • To collect all Documents related to expenses daily and to verify each transaction under the guidance of the Manager of finance.
  • To Post or Record all Transactions related to expenses.
  • To Maintain and liaise with the Storekeeper in maintaining the items movement, par levels, minimum & maximum levels.
  • To be alert of misappropriation or cheating.
  • To maintain a proper filing system in the Department.
  • To prepare the daily food cost report and send it to the F&B in charge.
  • To take ownership of monthly Inventory taking and random spot checking.
  • To make sure to hand over completed receiving batch daily basis to Accounts Payable for processing payment to the suppliers.
  • To take ownership & prepare the monthly reconciliation reports & departmental expenses & JV.
  • To prepare monthly variance reports for all the Bars / Boutique / Tuck Shop / Team Bar / Wines and operating Equipment.
  • To prepare monthly VIP amenities consumption report as per VIP category-wise.
  • To carry out recipe costing, yield testing, menu engineering & other control base activities & in preparing reports.
  • To multi-task jobs in the Finance section.
  • To assist Corner Shop in maintaining par stock levels and proper controlling system with good service for the team members.
  • To actively conduct the random check for goods received in compliance with Hygiene Standards and resort requirements.
  • To be prepared to do any other work within the department, to assist other areas, or in the event of other staff on emergency leave or when requested by the Manager, Finance, and Director, Finance.
  • Maintain full confidentiality over the Resort's Financial status.
  • Maintain high spirits among the Finance Department staff as well as other resort staff.
  • Use creative and positive thinking. Throw new ideas for constant improvement of the Cost Control Section.
  • Performs any additional duties and/or special projects as requested by the Director, of Finance.
  • To maintain proper control over inventories and keep track of the movements.
  • Responsible for preparing the aging of slow-moving stock in all stores and keeping track of the requisitions from Departments based on aging. 
  • Prepare short expiry reports at frequent intervals to avoid the items getting expired.
  • Responsible for conducting full inventory in the Boutique store as well as Spa. 
  • To perform all other jobs related to your scope of work, as requested by your superiors or other Managers.

 

SKILL EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT 

 

  • Communication Skills - Fluent in English both written and spoken.
  • Interpersonal Skills - Attention to detail, friendly and responsive attitude 
  • Minimum Two years’ Experience in a similar position  
  • Good Knowledge of Inventory management and Accounting Systems
  • Required Diploma in Accountancy or above-mentioned Experience.
