JOB SUMMARY
Ensures human resources administration, payroll processes, and services are executed efficiently and effectively by providing the necessary support to internal guests and Department Heads. Contributes to a progressive and service-orientated human resources function by ensuring all human resources processes and services are carried out fairly and effectively with consistency. Furthermore, provides support for legal compliance and compliance with the Global Office procedures, in all areas of business about people and is proactively involved in time and attendance records and other HR processes.

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Ensure that payroll-related documents such as New Hires, Promotion/transfer, Salary Adjustment, Expense Claims, Payroll Instruction, Annual Leave Tickets, and Contract Renewals are entered in Fusion before the payroll cut-off.
•    Responsible for the accurate data input, upkeep, and maintenance of Fusion and Master list ensuring that all human resources and payroll processes are completed according to departmental standards. 
•    Responsible for leave approvals and balance tracking. 
•    Responsible for personal data changes and upkeep of fusion and colleague files respectively. 
•    Administers salary changes and respective correspondence including letters to Colleagues. 
•    Administers the leaver process and co-ordinates departure process for colleagues ensuring they are guided accordingly and are issued with all necessary documents. Liaises with the Manager and recruitment on exit interviews. 
•    Takes full responsibility for the administration of contract renewal processes. 
•    Provides colleague records, data, and/or statistics as may be required by management. 
•    Assisting in producing the monthly Human Resources reports. 
•    Co-ordinates the annual salary increase and bonus process including the administration of respective letters. 
•    Conduct monthly Service Charge comparison survey with competition 
•    Keep himself/herself aware of the changes in Maldivian Labor Law. 
•    Provides one-on-one training for departmental fusion administrators and Department Heads on fusion leave and attendance processes. 
•    Monitor time and attendance records and check them for further payroll processing.
•    Check all leave forms are submitted to HR Assistant for the payroll process. 
•    Participate in the configuration and implementation of any HR system related changes. 
•    Cooperate with the departments to make sure that the hard copy and electronic versions of attendance records are aligned.
•    Finalize the payroll process from the HR side for further processing by the Finance department as per the global procedure and internal regulations.
•    Manage the exit of the colleague in terms of ensuring the necessary approvals are in place on the Final Settlement and obtain their acceptance. If any discrepancy, ensure it is sorted before the colleague’s departure, including the repatriation flight, if applicable.
•    Work closely with the Director, HR, and Manager, HR Admin assisting them in the daily HR operation.
•    Any other job requested from the management related to compliance.
•    Monitor consumption and order all necessary supplies for the office.
•    Assist HR colleagues, if needed, in the daily execution of their job.
•    Administration of F&F/Guest Villa requests in obtaining approvals and ensuring correct charges to the colleagues.
•    Monitor and process Probation Review promptly and coordinate with the department head and Manager, HR Admin, in case, of failed probation.
•    Provide recruitment support by assisting with the requisition process, scheduling and conducting interviews, following up with candidates, and assisting with the hiring and onboarding process in absence of Team Leader, Recruitment
•    To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by Manager HR Administration/ Director.
•    To perform all other jobs related to your scope of work, as requested by your superiors or other Managers. 


SKILL EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT 
•    Strong analytical and administrative skills 
•    Bachelor’s degree in human resources, management, finance, economics, related field, or equivalent experience
•    Working knowledge of business/function required
•    Preferable experience in human resources, law enforcement, criminal justice, or the legal profession
•    Demonstrated focus on ethics and integrity.
•    Proven experience managing and executing all "day-to-day" duties.
•    Ability to work independently on projects as a member of diverse teams.
•    Organizational skills and prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously, completing assignments on time and with accuracy.
•    Understands the importance of process controls and compliance risk.
•    Applies best practices and progressive concepts to projects.
•    3-5 years in an Admin role
•    2-3 years in hospitality, preferably in a five-star Hotel/Resort.
