JOB SUMMARY
To perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled technical and maintenance work in the operation, maintenance, and repair of the wastewater treatment and Reverse osmosis facilities.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Complete Maintenance and repairs of Reverse Osmosis System and related operational equipment’s
• Complete Maintenance and repairs of Sewage Treatment plant and related equipment’s
• Complete maintenance and repairs of Borewells and related equipment’s
• Complete maintenance and repairs of production water storage tanks and related equipment’s
• Periodic maintenance of Island water distribution system including pumps and other components
• Monitors the performance of all equipment, gauges, and charts in the treatment plant and pump stations.
• Records statistical data concerning plant operations.
• Maintains, modifies, or repairs instrumentation and control equipment including recorders, flow meters, and other water quality monitoring equipment.
• Charts lab test results for trend analysis and maintains accurate records of analyses and test results.
• Evaluate data and draft reports as required.
• Collects samples and identifies concentrations of chemical, physical, or biological characteristics of wastewater and desalination required by local, and state, requirements.
• Gathers and tests wastewater samples for plant efficiency reports as required by Local, State, requirements.
• Assures that the plant operates within required standards.
• May train other operators in acceptable lab methods and procedures to ensure the accuracy of test results.
• Maintains drawings and schematics of electrical and other systems in the treatment plant.
• Monitors the performance of electrical systems, circuits, or equipment of the treatment plant.
• Provides back-up to related positions.
• To perform all other jobs related to your scope of work, as requested by your superiors or other Managers.
SKILL EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT
• 3 years of relevant experience in the operation maintenance and repair of electrical distribution systems.
• Must be able to write and read English.
• Must have excellent troubleshooting skills and diagnosing in all electrical appliances, and control layouts.
