Assistant Manager, Kids Only

About the Role

The Assistant Manager, Kids Only is responsible for the planning, scheduling, managing and supervising of the programs and activities of the Club One department; as well for leading the team next to the Manager, Club One.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • To be able to demonstrate strong leadership qualities.
  • To provide a well-managed, safe, enthusiastic and positive Kids & Teens environment.
  • To ensure the equipment in the Kids & Teens area are clean and in an orderly manner.
  • To be able to troubleshoot and solve problems in the best interest of the department.
  • To train the newcomers of the department.
  • To provide training for all the colleagues of the department.
  • To actively market and upsell Club One activities within the resort.
  • To effectively deal with guests’ complaints and requests.
  • To be able to achieve and maintain the standards of excellence set forth by the company.
  • To have full knowledge of the company’s Sports, Kids and Teens standards.
  • To participate in all briefings/debriefs as well as weekly and monthly departmental meetings.
  • To supervise the monthly maintenance for all equipment and materials.
  • To keep tight records and to regularly inspect all Club One facilities within the resort.
  • To plan and monitor Club One promotions/advertisements.
  • To plan and monitor specialised Club One activities for special events.
  • To assist in managing the roster and manning, ensuring the staffing levels are adequate to handle business volume.
  • To be knowledgeable in Bodet. 
  • To ensure that the entire team is fully trained in handling children, teens and adults as well as in preparing activities, handling incidents, bad behaviors and emergencies.
  • To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management.


About you

The desired qualification for this role is at least a diploma in hospitality or in hotel management. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in the same role in an international ultra-luxury resort and must be fluent in written and spoken English and French.
