Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Coordinator, Engineering is to prepare and maintain all engineering department reports and documents updated.

He is also responsible to assist the Director, Engineering and Manager, Engineering in their daily job activities.

He shall takeover all the jobs and responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor and absence.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor the preventive maintenance file on daily basis and communicate to the PRP.
  2. Assist to update Alice on daily basis.
  3. Documentation and Follow up of purchase order status.
  4. Documentation of Preventive Maintenance records.
  5. Assist the Engineering store to update records.
  6. Assist the team members to find records and documents from the engineering folders.
  7. Prepare and maintain the engineering library and training room.
  8. Organize and coordinate the department section meetings.
  9. Documentation all training needs.
  10. Represent Engineering department for meetings if advised.
  11. Monitor the department team grooming issues and coordinate with section managers for improvement.
  12. Monitor the department work safety issues and coordinate with section managers for improvement.
  13. Documentation of work accidents and follow ups.
  14. Monitor the general housekeeping issues within department and coordinate with section managers for improvements.
  15. Monitor work punctuality and report to DOE.
  16. Coordinate with other departments whenever assigned.
  17. Communicate to the engineering team verbally and through documents about all the necessary information and on a daily basis.
  18. Communicate and collect feedback from the team and report to the DOE.
  19. Maintain log of procurements
  20. Coordinate with engineers and management to develop maintenance schedules.
  21. Convey instructions from managers to on-site workers.
  22. Ensure maintenance safety and quality control protocols are met.
  23. Daily update of the preventive Maintenance Programs for all the equipment on the Resorts. Records should always be readily available.
  24. Process all the requests that come through ALICE. Ensure that requests are assigned to the appropriate personnel. Also ensure that completed requests are closed in a timely manner. Proper follow ups are done for all requests logged onto the system right through to completion of the tasks.
  25. Coordinate all other maintenance requests/interventions with the Departments concerned ensuring the right information are passed in a timely manner and interventions are done with minimal disturbances to operations.
  26. Ensure good communication between Engineering Department and any other department.
  27. Update engineering consumptions data’s such as electricity, fuel, gas, water consumption and also swimming pools reading etc…On a daily basis and all records should be up to date and available at all times.

 

  1. Assist section managers in preparing material requisitions for withdrawal from the Main and Engineering stores.

 

Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements

  • At least a Form V
  • Should have at least 3 years of experience in a similar post.
  • Should be able to complete a work on a timely manner.
  • Should have good communication skills.
  • Should be computer literate.
