About the Role

 

IT coordinator will help in maintaining company's information technology systems and networks. Also include technical and administrative tasks to ensure functionality and efficiency of computer and telecom systems. Facilitate the interaction between end users and higher-level support. Monitor system and network performance and organize maintenance activities (e.g., backups) Organize troubleshooting٫ repairs and data restoration. Maintain licenses and upgrade schedules

 

Key Responsibilities

 

1. Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of IT systems, including PCs, operating          systems, telephones, software applications, and peripherals such as printers.
2. Provide expertise and support during systems upgrades, installations, conversions and file maintenance.
3. Communicate regularly with executive management and all users of information services and systems.
4. Follow standard operating procedures and best practices, including providing written protocols and guidance to IT staff and to end-users.
5. Ensure the creation and maintenance of all written documentation, including system and user manuals.
6. Oversee provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services.
7. Keep current with the latest technologies and determine what new technology solutions and implementations will meet business    and system requirements.
8. Develop and implement all IT SOP’s/policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing and service provision.
9. Manage workstation endpoints, security solutions, network hardware and equipment.
10.Manage telecommunications infrastructure, policies and procedures.

11. Manage the IT Servicedesk and ensure the IT Inventory/SLA’s are up to date.

12. Be compatible with the Work from Home philosophy and be able to provide IT support/assistance to end-users/Guest remotely.

 

About you

 

  • Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science
  • At least 2 Years of Experience as Officer, IT in a Luxury hotel.
  • CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) would be an advantage
  • Strong ethics and reliability
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
