About the Role
The Finance Officer will assist the Finance manager in preparing reports pertaining to all computerized accounting systems, month-end reports and general ledger reconciliation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Daily cash count with Banking Clerk.
- Petty cash and Payables Review auditing payment against invoices and Purchase orders.
- In the absence of the Director of Finance and Finance Manager, oversees staff and ensures all reports are processed promptly such as month end closing reports, monthly forecasts, and variance reports and visually review for accuracy.
- Works with Finance Director and Finance Manager in the supervision of Hotel Finance Office Staff, assigning task and giving guidance, monitoring accuracy
- Prepares Daily Revenue Report in the absence of Income Auditor.
- Monthly Data Input on MPC for Head Office Review.
- Prepares Monthly Cash Flow and quarterly Management Accounts for Head Office.
- Assist office in any other administrative duties as needed.
- Main office link between head office and Hotel office.
- Handles special project assignments as requested by the Director of Finance and Finance Manager.
About you
The desired qualification for this role is at least a Higher School Certificate. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in the same role in an international ultra-luxury resort and must be fluent in written and spoken English and French.
