Job Summary

The Accountant Manager is responsible for overseeing the hotel's financial operations, ensuring accurate accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and compliance with statutory and company policies while supporting operational and business objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
  • Oversee payroll processing and statutory compliance.
  • Ensure timely tax filings, audits, and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Monitor revenue, costs, and profitability, and provide financial analysis to management.
  • Implement and maintain internal financial controls.
  • Supervise and develop the accounting team.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' accounting experience, including supervisory experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.

 

Skills

 

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
