About the Role

 

The Store Manager will be responsible to manage receiving and stocking of all purchased products in the hotel, ensuring accuracy of delivery against purchase orders.  Maintains storeroom in accordance with standards and rotates stock accordingly. Manage issuing and delivery of items to departments in accordance with the requisition policies and procedures. Assist with monthly inventories in all storerooms. Prepares various reports and conducts meeting to keep departments apprised of trends and cost factors. Plans and directs actions to be performed to correct activities harmful to the profitability of the hotel.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensures all merchandise delivered to store has been properly received and documented.
  • Create and maintain PAR level for all stores
  • Manage reordering levels and process order requisition.
  • Ensure a good relationship is maintained with all the departments.
  • Ensure all variances in inventory are explained and dealt with.
  • Assists in conducting month- end inventories.
  • Ensures HACCP regulations are followed at all times.
  • Prepare Monthly Ageing report for stock Held.
  • Attends Hotel Meetings and may conduct meetings as requested by the Director of Finance.
  • Notifies person responsible for ordering merchandise when shipment arrives or if the shipment fails to arrive so that any discrepancies can be resolved
  • Abide by policies and procedures set for Finance Department.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the procurement manager

 

 

About You

The desired qualification for this role is at least a Degree in Management. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in the same role in an international ultra-luxury resort and must be fluent in written and spoken English and French.
