About the Role

The Spa Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional levels of hygiene and cleanliness in all aspects of the Spa in line with the hotel brand standards as well as for delivering excellent client care.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • To be responsible for setting up and closing down procedures as per brand standards by using relevant checklists.
  • To ensure that all guest amenities are replenished throughout the day.
  • To carry out a regular walkthrough of the entire Spa area to ensure cleanliness and adequate stock levels of guest amenities and linens.
  • To ensure that candles are always lit and flowers well displayed.
  • To ensure that client lockers are turned around quickly with the appropriate amenities and presentation.
  • To ensure removal of dirty linen from the Spa without disturbing the client’s experience and to deliver it to the relevant Housekeeping area.
  • To liaise with the relevant Food & Beverages Outlets to receive refreshments for the Spa for opening and refreshing purpose throughout the day.
  • To help the therapists in set up for treatments and in clearing away after treatments.
  • To be of assistance to the therapists and guests, when and where required.
  • To have a good knowledge of treatments and services of the Spa to easily assist with any enquiries.
  • To attend to guests as well as offer them refreshments, when needed, in both the relaxation and waiting areas, ensuring that they are comfortable.
  • To provide support to the Spa Reception by guiding the guests to the changing rooms as well as to the location of heat and relaxation areas, explaining their use.
  • To monitor the maintenance of all equipment and facilities of the Spa and to report any issue to the Maintenance department.
  • To always maintain the cleanliness of the Spa, particularly the changing rooms, washrooms, shower as well as relaxing areas.
  •  To maintain a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene as laid down by the Manager, Spa/Director, Spa.

 

About you

The desired qualification for this role is at least a School Certificate. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in the same role in an international Ultra-Luxury Resort and must be fluent in written as well as spoken English and French.
