About the Role

The storekeeper is responsible for the day-to day operations of the stores and for maintaining all the records.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • To ensure all merchandise delivered to storerooms have been properly received and documented.
  • To store all delivered merchandise and to update inventory systems accordingly.
  • To conduct physical inventories of the storerooms and to prepare requisitions.
  • To assist in the daily operation of food storeroom, to properly store and rotate all stock so that all items are fresh.
  • To fill requisitions so all stock will be completed at each outlet and to advise the Supervisor, Store of items that are low and out-of-stock so that they can be reordered.
  • To assist in conducting month-end inventories.
  • To properly complete authorized requisitions from departments and to issue goods in time.
  • To update daily issues in the inventory systems.
  • To maintain neatness and cleanliness in all storage areas on a daily basis.
  • To ensure that all security procedures are being complied with at all times.
  • To ensure HACCP regulations are followed at all times.

 

About You

The desired qualification for this role is at least a Higher School Certificate. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in the same role in an international ultra-luxury resort and should be fluent in English and French.
