Uniform Room Attendant
About the Role
A uniform Attendant will assist for the effective operational and administrative duties required to perform the daily operational needs of the department by issuing uniforms to Team Members, sending and receiving uniforms from the offsite laundry
The Uniform Attendant reports to the Uniform Supervisor in the event that the Supervisors are off then they will report to Assistant Manager that is leading the shift that they are rostered to work on.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- To attend to duty on time in correct uniform and well groomed.
- To attend daily briefings.
- High customer service level at all times.
- Ensure clean uniforms are available to all team members prior to their shift.
- Ensure soil uniforms are counted and logged prior to send to the outsourced supplier.

- All operational duties are met on each shift.
- All additional operational duties given supervisor are accomplished while on shift.
- Contribute to shift change over meetings.
- Ensure that all your paperwork is signed and files.
- Maintain the integrity of the tracking system at all times.
- Adhere to the policy manual for the Uniform Department.
- Involved in your training schedule to ensure understanding of job functionality.
- Involved in process improvement of Uniform Department
- To assist subordinates during daily peak periods in all areas of the housekeeping department
- Participate in Housekeeping meetings and make suggestions for improvements to the Executive Housekeeper
- Participates in the multi – skilling philosophy of the department
- To respond to changes in the department function as dictated by the Industry, Company and Hotel
- Carries out any other requests by the housekeeping leaders
- To ensure a good hygiene in the kitchen is maintained before and after each service or MEP.
- To firmly involve in achieving budgeted food cost and reducing wastage in order to make profit.
- To check daily reservation and doing order/MEP accordingly.
- To be consistent on all food served during breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- To always seek for innovative ideas.
About You
The ideal candidate should have at least a School Certificate or a High School Certificate.The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in the same role in an International Ultra-Luxury resort and must be fluent in written as well as spoken English and French.
