About The Role
Liaison within the entire department for their requirement for the smooth running of the operation and also do the day to day store management and issuing of store items
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- To attend to duty on time in correct uniform and well groomed.
- Attend daily briefings.
- To follow the resorts key control policy
- Inspect and ensure all tools and equipment are functioning as per resort standards
- Store cleanliness
- Control of expiry products
- Rotation of stock
- Stacking of goods in their respective areas
- Receiving of goods
- Checking quality and quantity
- Allocation of goods with correct authorization
- Stock control
- Inventory
- Checking variances
- Issue of slow moving items list
- Ordering items
- Ensuring administration is kept up to date
- Monthly stock takes or as requested
- Inform management in the event there are any issue with orders pending and if item are below par levels.
- Work as scheduled to a rotating roster will include morning shift, afternoon and evening shift and overnight shifts, this will also include weekends and public holidays ( as per Mauritian Law ).
About You
The desired qualifications for this role are at least a School Certificate and a National Certificate Level 3 in any given field. The ideal candidate should at least have 2 years of experience in the same role in an international ultra-luxury resort and must be fluent in written and spoken English and French.
