• Know the established service standards for food and beverages and apply them.
• Check 7Rooms, Alice and Opera daily and update preferences and notes in the system.
• Distribute guests equitably and orderly at stations
• Manage GIR and guest preferences in the Alice system.
• Check, assist and generate reservations for Tequila Tastings, cooking classes and special events through Alice and 7Rooms
• Be aware of the numbers of tables, waiters and stations.
• Check that the menus are clean and in good condition
• Keep the podium clean and in good condition.
• Know all the general areas of Services in the hotel, which are in operation and their respective schedules
• Check at Reception the percentage of occupancy and activities for guests within the Hotel, keep the daily updated.
• Upon the arrival of a client to the restaurant, welcome them cordially and assign a table according to the needs of the guest.
• Stand in an appropriate and professional position, always seeking to make a good impression on customers.
• Ask customers when leaving if everything was satisfactory and say goodbye politely.
• Must be informed of everything that is in the restaurant.
• Knows perfectly all the dishes on the menu and their descriptions.
• Promptly and politely answer the phone using standard One & Only phraseology.
• If a guest asks for take-out food, the matter will be immediately turned over to the manager and/or assistant without hesitation.
• Avoid spreading negative activities as they do not contribute to motivation and personal improvement.
• Help in the preparation of logs and reports necessary for the operation of the consumption center, keeping a daily and well-reviewed check list.
• Maintain the necessary stock of stationery for the operation.
• Responsible for the restaurant's audio system based on One & Only standards.
• Know and have information on hand about all the activities that take place in the hotel.
• Check the buffet line for correct and clean tent cards, if there is a buffet.
• Assist the manager in preparing administrative documents
• Make tent cards for events and breakfast buffets, store them and keep them in good condition.
• Lead and seat guests, offering the ladies the best view first. Offer children a high chair; and give special attention to the elderly.
• Do not deny anything without first consulting the manager or restaurant manager.
• Post everything necessary on the information board.
• If the restaurant is full of diners, assist with table service.
• Make menus for small groups, as well as update any changes to the daily menus.
