About the Job

As a Chef de Partie, you will play a key role within the culinary team, executing the brand’s gastronomic vision while ensuring the highest standards of quality, presentation, and service at all times.

You will act as an operational leader in the kitchen, overseeing production, ensuring compliance with procedures, and delivering excellence during every service. In the absence of the Sous Chef, you will assume leadership responsibilities within the kitchen.

This role also involves contributing to culinary innovation, team development, and strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and cost control standards, in alignment with corporate guidelines and the FSMS program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate execution of recipes, presentation standards, and service timing.

  • Supervise daily production, prioritizing tasks and anticipating operational needs.

  • Conduct and oversee line checks to maintain quality standards across all shifts.

  • Lead service, ensuring precision in plating, temperature, and timely delivery.

  • Implement and follow all FSMS and food safety (SGSA) procedures.

  • Ensure proper receiving, storage, rotation, and inventory control of all products.

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper condition of kitchen and storage areas.

  • Enforce health, safety, and accident prevention standards within the kitchen.

  • Contribute to menu development and innovation, staying aligned with culinary trends.

  • Support cost control initiatives, including food cost, labor, and other expenses.

  • Lead, coach, and develop culinary team members to achieve high performance.

  • Document and follow up on staff performance issues when necessary.

  • Ensure team readiness, punctuality, and preparedness for each service.

  • Follow all directives from direct supervisors and corporate culinary leadership.

  • Perform any additional duties as required by the operation.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within luxury hotels or high-end restaurants.

  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen operations, and food production.

  • Experience implementing food safety standards (FSMS, HACCP, or equivalent).

  • Proven leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.

  • Knowledge of inventory management and cost control.

  • Flexible schedule availability.

  • Proactive mindset, creativity, and awareness of culinary trends.
