Food & Beverage Manager

Key Duties and Responsibilities

 

Responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations within a hospitality establishment. This position entails managing all aspects of the F&B department to ensure high quality, service, and profitability standards. The F&B Manager works closely with the Diector of Restaurants and other departmental managers to deliver exceptional guest experiences and achieve business goals.

 

Core Work Activities

  • Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets.
  • Ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality service delivery.
  • Develop and implement operational standards and procedures.
  • Prepare and manage the F&B department's budget.
  • Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
  • Implement cost-control measures while maintaining quality.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service and satisfaction.
  • Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest experiences.
  • Collaborate with chefs and F&B managers to create innovative and appealing menus.
  • Ensure menus reflect current trends, guest preferences, and profitability.
  • Oversee menu pricing and portion control.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote F&B outlets and services.
  • Work with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities.
  • Oversee procurement and inventory management for F&B supplies.
  • Plan and oversee the execution of F&B aspects of events and banquets.

 

Skills, Experience & Core Work Activities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced certifications in food and beverage management are a plus.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in food and beverage management, with at least 2 years in a senior managerial role.
  • Proven track record of successful F&B operations management in a high-volume establishment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Superior guest service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in F&B management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient English and Spanish is mandatory
