About the Job
The Guest Activities Assistant Manager is responsible for curating and delivering exceptional, high-impact experiences for Palmilla Social Club members and hotel guests, ensuring alignment with the brand’s luxury standards and positioning.
This role leads the planning and execution of a dynamic annual programming calendar, combining social, cultural, wellness, and recreational experiences that drive both guest engagement and incremental revenue. The position requires strong ownership of the end-to-end event lifecycle—from concept development and commercial strategy to execution and post-event analysis.
Working cross-functionally with F&B, Marketing, Sales, and Operations, this role ensures seamless delivery while elevating the overall guest journey and strengthening the Club’s value proposition.
In addition, the role supports the membership journey through onboarding, administrative coordination, and personalized tours for prospective members.

Key Responsibilities
Experience & Programming
- Design and execute a curated annual calendar of events for members and hotel guests.
- Develop innovative, on-brand experiences that enhance engagement and satisfaction.
- Ensure all programming reflects the standards and positioning of One&Only and Palmilla Social Club.
Event Execution
- Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of all social, cultural, wellness, and recreational activities.
- Oversee logistics, timelines, and on-site execution to ensure flawless delivery.
- Partner closely with internal departments to ensure operational alignment.
Commercial & Revenue Focus
- Identify and implement revenue-generating experiences and activations.
- Drive participation and upselling opportunities across guest segments.
- Monitor budgets, control costs, and track financial performance of events.
Member & Guest Engagement
- Build strong relationships with members and guests, ensuring a personalized experience.
- Act as a key point of contact for activities, events, and membership-related inquiries.
- Support membership onboarding and ensure all related administrative tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Conduct personalized host-led tours for prospective members, showcasing the club’s facilities, experiences, and overall value proposition.
- Continuously enhance the member journey through thoughtful programming and attentive service.
Partnerships & Vendors
- Source, negotiate, and manage external vendors, partners, and experience providers.
- Ensure all third-party collaborations align with brand standards and service expectations.
Performance & Reporting
- Track event performance, participation levels, and guest feedback.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize programming and ROI.
- Support marketing efforts with content, storytelling, and promotional initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Tourism, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in luxury hospitality, events, club operations, or lifestyle programming.
- Proven experience managing events from concept to execution.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Experience supporting guest or member journeys with a high level of personalization.
- Commercial mindset with experience in revenue generation or upselling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
