As a Hostess at our luxury resort, you are the first and last impression of our restaurant. You will create a warm, elegant, and memorable welcome for every guest, ensuring their experience begins and ends with genuine hospitality. You will manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest preferences with precision, reflecting the standards of One&Only, Forbes, and LQA. Your role is essential to maintaining a seamless flow of service and an atmosphere of refined comfort that embodies our brand philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver gracious, prompt, and professional greetings and farewells to all guests.

Apply Forbes and LQA service standards consistently in all guest interactions.

Arrive punctually and fully prepared at your assigned area each day.

Manage and update reservations through 7Rooms (or current reservation platform), noting guest preferences and special occasions.

Coordinate the restaurant’s seating plan to balance stations and ensure smooth operations.

Record and track guest preferences through Alice and maintain accurate guest profiles.
-
Assist with reservations and confirmations for Tequila Tastings, Cooking Classes, and special events.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of restaurant table numbers, waiter sections, and menus.

Ensure menus are clean, accurate, and in excellent condition at all times.

Keep the host podium organized and presentable according to One&Only standards.

Stay informed of hotel occupancy, in-house activities, and daily events through the updated Daily Sheet.

Escort guests to their tables, offering priority to ladies, elderly guests, and families with children.

Always maintain a poised and professional posture to create a refined impression.

Handle phone calls courteously using One&Only standard greetings and phraseology.

Be fully knowledgeable about menu items, restaurant offerings, and ongoing promotions.

Coordinate with the team to assist in administrative tasks, daily reports, and operational checklists.

Maintain stock levels of necessary stationery and guest materials.

Manage the restaurant’s audio system following One&Only music and ambiance standards (when applicable).

Verify that buffet tent cards are accurate and clean (when applicable).

Assist in service during peak hours when required, ensuring smooth guest flow.

Keep the information board updated according to brand guidelines.

Ensure newspapers or digital media cards are ready each morning for guest access.

Always consult with the Manager before declining any guest request.

Uphold a positive attitude, teamwork, and professional behavior that foster a culture of excellence.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience in luxury hospitality or fine dining environment.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent grooming and professional presentation.

Knowledge of Forbes/LQA standards preferred.

Proficiency with reservation and guest management systems (7Rooms, Alice, or similar).

Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
