Job description:

Job Summary

Responsible for establishing and driving all sales promotional and product development programs (short and long term) targeted toward existing and new markets for Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley (EOOWV) with full accountability for achievement of annual revenue budget.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

§ Develop and implement annual sales plans to achieve annual business objectives.

§ Develop and guide the execution of public relations and promotional and partnership strategies.

§ Develop and manage sales annual expense operating budget.

§ Lead, manage and monitor all day-to-day sales activities with focus on developing strategic value-based outcomes that enable achievement of sales objectives.

§ Manage and drive all key EOOWV business segments: FIT Direct, Leisure FIT, Corporate Meeting, Leisure Group, Incentive and Wedding sales. Work closely with revenue management to drive business segment OTA/TPW.

§ Supervises local Reservations team providing coaching, mentoring and development.

§ Ensure effective control of marketing results and take corrective action to ensure achievement of EOOWV goals.

§ Drive strategies for tactical sales and revenue generating promotions.

§ Develop, implement and sustain aggressive solicitation programs focussed on increasing business.

§ Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.

§ Monitor competitor products, sales activities.

§ Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.

§ Manage key and niche accounts across the main segments of both Leisure and Groups (PCO/Corporate/Events). Establish and execute account plans to key clients within these segments.

§ Engage collaboratively with EOOWV property team to ensure resort needs are being met and sales efforts are complementary, not duplicative.

§ Execute and attend client events, trade shows and sales missions to maintain, build and develop key relationships with clients across domestic, regional and international markets.

§ Drive and leverage the international Kerzner Regional Sales Office (RSO) network to achieve budgeted goals. Track and measure productivity of key accounts working with RSOs to develop sales programs and initiatives.

§ Develop and manage annual wholesale / tour operator rate setting and contracting.

§ Oversee EOOWV on-property marketing, communications and sales activities ensuring brand quality.


Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements

§ Minimum 10 years' sales experience in hotels and resorts

§ Undergraduate degree

§ Strong leadership skills

§ Strong management reporting skills

§ Strong Communication Skills (written, verbal and formal presentation style)

§ Strong Microsoft Office, Opera and Salesforce skills

§ Fluent English language
