Job Summary
Provide a safe and secure environment for all colleagues and guests and to protect and make secure the owning companies assets. The role oversees two properties based in Montenegro and reports to the Cluster General Manager with a dotted line to Hotel Manager.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop safe method work statements for departmental practices
- Maintain a security team, and actively develop team members to achieve exceptional results
- Oversee and conduct regular fire drills
- Develop and execute a fire drill and training program in line with the onsite Resort Incident Management System.
- Coordinate the training of all on site firefighting teams, and general colleagues, in conjunction with a professional certified fire safety trainer.
- Ensure all colleagues have an active awareness for fire prevention and control measures
- Ensure daily patrolling, for safety and security of in-house guests and colleagues, are being executed effectively
- Enforce the security policy so as to reduce irresponsible people or colleagues passing through the Resort without any control or approval
- Ensure Fire & Safety policy of the Resort, is followed and inform relevant departments and security manager of any non-compliance
- Monitor the associate movements as they are not allowed to be in any part of the guest area, at any time, except those authorized person who are there in the course of their duties, or otherwise permitted by the Cluster General Manager/Hotel Manager or Cluster Director, Human Resources.
- Ensure Hotel policy of colleagues going out of the Hotel and taking any items out of the Hotel, is executed effectively
- Conduct security search of the associate accommodation room in the presence of employee and personal from Human Resources Department.
- Ensure the policies of bag check and package pass, are executed effectively.
- Ensure contractor and visitor pass policy is executed effectively.
- Take part in any fire systems training provided by the management.
- Ensure daily checks are performed on the fire systems, and all FPM inspections are executed effectively.
- Aid in the ongoing maintenance and any upgrades conducted on any fire systems
- Develop and execute fire preventative maintenance schedules
- Develop good relationship with local police and investigation department for any future assistance.
- Overall control on CCTV system.
- Liaise with external security on regular basis
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop colleagues.
- Strong knowledge and trained use of all firefighting equipment

- Remain calm and controlled in a crisis situation
- Be innovative, financially savvy, provide instinctive service and be inspirational.
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
- 5 Years in same or similarly relevant role
- To be able to give examples of similar roles
- Professional qualification from recognized institute.
- Minimum Higher Secondary Passed from the Government recognized College/University
- Be well versed in the Associate Success Profile of surprise and delight, evolve and grow, deliver and win and attract and retain great talent
