2. Job Details & Requirements
Job Summary
Assists the Marketing and Sales leaders in overseeing the Sales and Marketing functions and ensuring the departments are working efficiently and clients are looked after well. Ensuring the activities are carried out, the guest satisfaction index goes up and deadlines are met to ensure the success of the Sales & Marketing strategy.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Personally, build clear and open lines of communication with all departments.
- Be actively involved in maintaining programs, databases and platforms updated.
- Ensure all communications are aligned to the SIRO brand image.
- Maintain all collaterals up to date.
- Support the programming and implementation of Site Inspections, fam trips, press trips and photo shootings.
- Prepare Group quotations in line with pricing strategy in place, qualify and follow-up to ensure high conversion ratio.
- Support contracting as per Sales Manager’s instructions on all segments.
- Assist the Marketing Manager in content creation, communications and relations with PR agencies as required.
- Assist in the preparation of sales trip with client research, preparing the agenda, travel requirements as well as post-trip administration.
- Blend well with a team with different opinions, skills, experiences, and backgrounds; understand personal,
cultural, and functional differences to optimize team performance.
- Be innovative with everything you do.
- Work closely with the sales manager to drive revenue and achieve targets.
- Respond to all internal email from various function i.e. reservation, rooms, F&B…
- Monitor and redirect external communications coming in via email or phone to the correct department.
- Ensures administrative duties are carried out in accordance with requirements for both Sales and Marketing departments.
- Attend departmental meetings as required by HOD.
- Work closely with other teams to ensure all revenue streams are adequately covered.
- Undertake additional duties as requested by the Sales & Marketing management team.
- Be aware of cybercrime and common scams as communicated by the Kerzner Global IT team, filter and detect these attempts, and ensure that guest and company safety is protected.
3. EDUCATION, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Business Management Field or related
- 2 year of similar role experience.
- Be innovative, tech savvy, provide instinctive service and be inspirational.
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace, as well as English.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
