Job Summary
The Membership Sales Specialist plays a key role in driving the growth and success of the SIRO Health Club by actively engaging prospective members, promoting our unique offerings, and building long-term relationships. This position is responsible for achieving membership sales targets, delivering exceptional customer service, and creating a seamless, positive experience for all potential members. The Membership Sales Specialist must possess strong communication skills, a passion for wellness, and the ability to effectively present the value of our fitness, recovery, and wellness services. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who is passionate about wellness and has the drive to help others achieve their health goals. The Membership Sales Specialist will be an ambassador for SIRO’s commitment to active living, playing a pivotal role in building a thriving, engaged, and satisfied member community.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Sales & Prospecting:
- Proactively reach out to potential members through calls, emails, and in-person interactions.
- Conduct tours of the facilities, highlighting the unique features and benefits of the club.
- Follow up on leads generated from marketing campaigns, events, and referrals.
Consultative Selling:
- Engage with prospective members to understand their fitness and wellness goals.
- Tailor membership options and packages to meet the individual needs of each prospect.
- Present membership benefits and services in a clear, compelling manner.
- Cross selling all hotel services as well as collaboration with other departments
Guest Experience:
- Ensure all guests receive personalized service that exceeds their expectations.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote spa services and wellness programs, creating special packages and offers to attract guests.
Customer Service:
- Provide a welcoming and professional experience for all visitors and prospective members.
- Address questions, concerns, and objections with empathy and accurate information.
- Support a seamless onboarding process for new members to ensure they feel welcomed and informed.
Retention & Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing members to foster loyalty and referrals.
- Work closely with the fitness and recovery teams to ensure members’ needs are being met.
Tracking & Reporting:
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing members to foster loyalty and referrals.

- Updating the database and ensuring the financial liability of members, including raising invoices and ensuring timely payments.
Event Support & Community Engagement:
- Participate in club-hosted events, open houses, and wellness workshops to drive awareness and engagement.
- Develop and execute initiatives to attract potential members from the local community.
- Be aware of cybercrime and common scams as communicated by the Kerzner Global IT team, filter and detect these attempts, and ensure that guest and company safety is protected.
3. EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Business Management Field or related
- 2 year of sales experience or client facing experience in a 5* hospitality environment / high-end Spa or Fitness facility environment.
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace, as well as English. Any additional language, especially Russian or German, would be a plus.
- Proven experience in sales or customer service, ideally within the fitness, wellness, or hospitality industry.
- Experience in a high-end or luxury environment is a plus.
- Strong sales acumen with a demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Experience with consultative selling, with the ability to understand client needs and tailor offerings accordingly.
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining client relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and engaging personality.
- Ability to actively listen, address client concerns, and present information clearly and persuasively.
- Comfortable conducting facility tours and engaging in one-on-one or group settings.
- Passion for delivering exceptional service and creating a positive experience for prospective and current members.
- Ability to anticipate member needs and provide tailored solutions that align with their wellness goals.
- Strong conflict resolution skills and a high degree of professionalism.
- Proficient in using CRM systems to track leads, manage sales activities, and generate reports.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and leads in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with digital sales tools.
- Basic understanding of fitness, wellness, and recovery services and their benefits.
- Enthusiasm for health and wellness trends, and the ability to translate that passion to prospective members.
- Knowledge of the local area and community is an advantage.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A proactive, goal-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and a high level of personal motivation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently.
