About the Role
Supervisor, Engineering should lead the engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel along with the Manager, Engineering in order to ensure a high standard of building, machinery, plant, furniture, fixture, and equipment in all the departments. Achieve total guest satisfaction and organizational profitability through effective utilization of all resources.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- To be responsible for the overall management and performance of the operation departments Front Office, Housekeeping, and Security, ensuring high standards of professionalism, customer service and maximum financial performance.

Implement systems and procedures that ensure the safety of guests, employees, plants, machinery, and property.

Staffing and scheduling of the department and allocation of duties.

Develop systems and procedures that achieve higher cost efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Facilitate learning and development for all the team members of the department.

Fully responsible of handling the team of HVAC, K&L, Electrical, Plumbing Fabricator & Pest control in the hotel.

Maintain the fire safety system through regular inspection of fire alarm and sprinkler system.

Follow up job / work order and make periodic checks of completed repair and maintenance work to ensure that the established standards have been met.

Co-ordinate with Housekeeping, Front Office, and other departments on preventive maintenance of rooms and other repair work.

Maintain the complaint management & maintenance request system and ensure timely response to all the complaints and maintenance requests.
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements

Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel.

Must Hold Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

International experience preferred.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

Willing to work flexible hours.
