About The Role

  • Coordinates with the Manager, Operations to operate a superior Water Park experience.
  • Provide the synergy required to position, train, and motivate employees to provide a safe, high quality guest experience. 
  • Recruits and develops a professional and dedicated junior management and lifeguard team.
  • Assists the Manager, Operations with various tasks and projects assigned as needed.
  • Ensures that Aquaventure facilities are maintained at the highest level of quality. Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment for employees and guests. 
  • Monitors and anticipates service needs to ensure a high quality and superior “blow-away” guest experience. 
  • Develops and maintains open and professional lines of communication with all departments that interact with the Aquaventure operation. 
  • Partner with the Resort Recreation Department in the management of the daily operation of the Aquaventure Guest Services Huts, Aquaventure Cabanas, Guest Buggies and Recreational Leisure activities of the resort such as water sports.
  • Assist in the recruitment and development of the Team Leaders and lifeguard team.
  • Development of the Team Leaders through annual performance reviews.
  • Direct management of Team Leaders, Lifeguard Training Team, & Colleagues
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of park operations
  • Develops and maintains open and professional lines of communication with all departments that interact with the Aquaventure operation. 
  • Performing disciplinary and counseling when needed to ensure accountability and performance expectations are met.
  • Achieve Colleague Engagement to maintain engaged colleagues throughout the course of the year.
  • Ensure 100% compliance in the operation at all times as per third party and local governing standards. 
  • Carry out the daily inspections of the waterpark, pools and beaches prior to colleagues and guest use.
  • All additional duties that may be asked in order to successfully, efficiently and safely operate the waterpark, pools and beaches.

About You

  • Minimum High School Level Education or Equivalent 
  • Ellis & Associates Instructor Experience and  / or Training Experience equivalent to the same is desired
  • Proficent Skills in Microsoft Office/Outlook / Excel / Word / PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills & Organizational skills
  • Strong administrative abilities accompanying a strong customer focus.
  • Leadership abilities including but not limited to strong communication skills, follow-up & task management.
